Pastor James C. Woodley, M.Div

In 2006, God elevated the ministry of James C. Woodley to serve as Pastor of The Friendship Baptist Church in Paterson NJ as only the2nd Pastor in its 30 year history. He served this ministry for 9 ½ years. In December 2014, James C. Woodley again answered the call of ministry to move to a different vineyard; this call led him to become Senior Pastor of the Gill Creek Baptist Church in Columbia SC.

Pastor Woodley holds the following degrees: a BA degree from The College of New Rochelle, a Master of Divinity Degree from Drew University in Madison NJ, and a post-graduate degree (Ed.S.) in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seton Hall University. He studied Formational Counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland Ohio.

Pastor Woodley has served in the field of mental health assisting individuals and families in crisis. He is the sole proprietor of Family-Ties Counseling Services. God has truly blessed Pastor Woodley with unique talents in teaching and preaching the word of God, as well as counseling the people of God. He has a passion for God’s people and a hunger for learning and presenting God’s word as a servant of the Lord.
